Batch Export-Import users

If you need to export-import the users of your application, follow these steps:

Export users

1. Install the plugin 'System Report' and activate it by navigating to the application Privileges and Plugins.

2. Import this report into the application, following these steps. Now, move to Site Admin (Legacy), and navigate to Reporting > Manage Reports. Now, create a copy of the 'UserExport' report

3. The copy of the above 'UserExport' report is highlighted in the image below.

4. Then, click on View > Query Editor > Click on 'Export Users' query under 'Report Queries' > Add 'LEFT JOIN' beside the device as shown in the image below.

5. Click on 'Save,' and activate the report in the application, following these steps.

6. Execute the report in the application (when executing the report, select it in CSV format and download it). You can export users or assets in the Group (Tag) you choose while executing the report. For exporting users, place all users in a Group (Tag) and choose it while executing the report, and the same goes with exporting assets. Now, you can use the CSV file (either with all users or all assets) that you get after executing the report for importing users/assets to another application. 

Import users

To import the users in the destination application (e.g.: another server) follow these steps.
