Adding assets to GpsGate
Configure your tracker to report to GpsGate
The first step is to configure your tracker to forward the data to the GpsGate platform.

Add the asset to an application
The second step is to add the asset to an application. There are multiple ways of doing this, depending on your current situation:
1. Add Teltonika/ Quecklink asset via SMS
2. Add Assets via Manual Configuration
3. Add Custom Asset from the Assets panel
4. Add assets via the mobile Fleet app
Where to Add an Asset:
This section explains the locations or interfaces where you can initiate the asset addition process.
I. The first asset with the Guide
If it's the first asset you add to your application, you will be prompted by the Guide to choose an option.
Use this article to set up your first device in GpsGate using either manual or SMS configuration through the new in-product Guide.
Adding more assets via the Guide shortcut *
If you want to access the Shortcut again to set up another asset, you can access it via our Guide.
Find the icon on the top right corner of your screen and press on the Guide, followed by Connect your own tracker.
II. Connecting your asset from the Asset Panel:
If you want to add your second asset (or if you prefer to skip the Guide), follow these steps:
1. Click on + Asset
2. And follow the guidance presented in this article from for manual configuration or this article for SMS configurations
Create Custom Asset:
1. Choose 'Custom Asset' from the + Asset drop-down menu in the Asset panel.

III. Fleet app
By using your mobile phone you can add the assets to GpsGate. Open the Fleet app and log in as an Administrator.
1. Tap on the Main Menu and choose Add Asset
