EN1001 Battery Recharge

This report provides daily electric vehicle battery recharge data for assets within the selected time period, organised by asset and derived from the OBD_OEM_BatteryChargeLevel signal.

Required: OBD signals from the tracker 

Details included in the report

  • Total recharges: The number of recharges recorded during the selected period.
  • Date: The specific date when each recharge occurred.
  • Start Time: The exact time the recharge was logged.
  • Location: The address where the recharge took place.
  • Before Charge: The battery level before the recharge.
  • After Charge: The battery level after the recharge was completed.
  • Charged: The percentage of battery added during the recharge.
  • Charged KWh: The total kWh charged during the recharge.

Step 1: Installing the Battery Recharge report  

Follow these steps to install the EN1001 Battery Recharge on your server:

1. Log in to your Site Admin (Legacy).
2. Import the attached template - EN1001 Battery Recharge detailed (Tag). (Find the attachment at the end of the guide.)

Step 2: Configuring the Device Mapper

Make sure your BatteryLevel signal is mapped to the variable EV_BatteryChargeLevel. The device input on your tracker may have a different name than shown below, but it must be mapped exactly to EV_BatteryChargeLevel. (If you do not have this variable, you can create it )

Step 3: Add a custom field for Battery Capacity

1. Add a Custom field to your Device and name it Battery Capacity.

2. Edit the User Type - Device, ensure that the new custom field is Visible. 

3. Edit your assets with a value for the Battery capacity

Step 4: Configuring the Event Rule

1. Enable Privileges: Ensure the following privileges are activated: _ImportTemplate,  _EditScriptExpression. (from Privileges and Plugins)

2. Import the Event Rule: Import the Detect Battery Recharge event rule into your Application. (Find the attachment at the end of the guide)

Step 5: Configuring and activating the Report

1. Activate the report by enabling the privilege in the application.

2. Create an instance of the report in the application and update the parameters with the event rule Detect Battery Recharge.
