Export-import Event Rules

Requirements

Make sure your application has the following Privileges and Plugins enabled:

• _EditEventRule
• _ImportTemplate

Export your Event Rules

1. Log in to your application and go to Main Menu > Admin > Event Rules

2. Select your event rule first.

3. Select Export and your file will be downloaded immediately:

Import your event rules

1. Inside the application, go to Main Menu > Admin > Import Template.

2. Select the event rule you want to import, and you will get the following message:

3. Your event rule should appear now under Main Menu > Admin → Event Rules

Import your event rules to multiple applications

If you want to import a single event rule into multiple applications, you can do it in Site Admin (Legacy)→ Import → Template

When you select your exported event rule .xml file, the application selector will be shown

• Note: if you select _AllVehicleTracker, the rule will be imported into all the applications you have on your server.
