Fleet app: Event rules

Event rule alerts can be monitored and managed through the Fleet app, offering real-time visibility into your fleet's activities. There are two primary ways to identify events within your fleet: by selecting a specific asset or by reviewing the event list.

Additionally, notifications alert the fleet manager, either through direct alerts or by opening the Fleet app and noticing the red dots displayed under the map and events icon.

Events per Asset

To see specific asset-related events only, tap on the asset's Events tab. Read more on event rules.

This selection will only show open events for that particular asset.

Event list

To see a count of all events instead, tap on the Events icon at the bottom left of the screen.

Open events list:

The list displays the events that are both open and closed. But, if you want to view only the open events, you can enable the 'Only rules with open events' option.

Clicking the icon in the top-right corner reveals three options for displaying events.

Name

The events are listed in alphabetical order.

Quantity

The event rule with the highest number of occurrences is displayed first, followed by others in        descending order.

Latest

The most recently triggered event appears first, followed by others in chronological order.

When you tap on any event, you can see that the events are grouped by date.

Once inside a particular event, you can view the location of the event by extending the map. Click on the icon highlighted in the image below to extend the map.

You can decide to close the event and add a comment (adding a comment is optional) by clicking on the icon on the top-right corner. A comment will be registered on the server's side for that particular event. Once closed, the event will disappear from the list of events displayed in the image above. Read more about closing events here.
