Fleet app: Edit the asset

Effortlessly update your assets on the go using the Fleet app. Customize your assets by adding or updating pictures, editing their names, viewing tracker details, or even deleting assets—all directly within the app.

This guide will walk you through each step to help you make these updates and keep your fleet visually organized.

How to Edit Asset Details:

1. Open the Fleet app and select the asset you want to edit.
2. Click on the icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
3. Tap the Edit Asset button.

Edit asset available options:

Name and Odometer:

1. Edit Name: Edit the 'Display name' of the tracker by clicking on the name. Then, click on 'Save asset.'

2. View tracker details: Click on the 'Connected Tracker' and the below page will open.

3. Accumulators: Add the Odometer value if it was previously enabled for the asset, or update the value and click on 'Save asset.'

4. You can also delete the asset by pressing the Delete Asset button. 

Asset picture: 

Add a picture to the asset:

1. Open the Fleet app and select the asset you want to edit
2. Click on the icon in the top-right corner of the screen and tap the 'Edit asset' button.
3. Tap on the space where image should exist. Take a picture or select from the gallery.

Edit the picture of the asset :

1. Select the asset from the list of assets. Tap on the asset's image. Click on 'Edit.'

 2. Choose to Take a photo, Select from gallery or Delete the photo.
