Maintenance - Notification Email
Maintenance notifications allow you to schedule automatic reminders for vehicle or asset maintenance tasks — such as oil changes, tyre rotations, or annual inspections. When a maintenance event is due, GpsGate sends an email notification to the configured recipients.
Recipients are defined by email address and can be any user — including users who do not have a GpsGate login.
How to setup
- From the top menu, go to Maintenance.
- Select the service schedule you want to configure and open it for editing.
- Add the email address of the recipient
Notification Email
The email notification includes the following information:

| Maintenance name | The name you gave to the maintenance task. |
| Vehicle name | The vehicle or asset the maintenance is assigned to. |
| Due date | The date on which maintenance is due (if date-based). |
| Due odometer / engine hours | The threshold value at which maintenance is due (if usage-based). |
| Current value | The vehicle's current odometer reading or engine hours at the time of notification. |
| Remaining | How much time, distance, or hours remain until maintenance is due. |
