Fleet App: Inviting New Users to GpsGate Application

This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to invite new users to the GpsGate application via the Fleet mobile app. With these simple steps, you can invite users, allowing them access to the app and enabling them to log in once the invitation is accepted.

Steps to Invite New Users:

1. Launch the Fleet app on your mobile device.

2. Tap the main menu icon (three horizontal lines) located in the top left corner of the screen.

3. Select the "Invite User" Option

4. Select User type: Choose between Administrator or Operator.
Administrators will have full access, including the ability to manage other users and system settings.
Operators can view and manage data but have limited access to administrative features.

Note: You can create a new role that gets assigned to a new User type. This new user type will be listed in the Invite user pop-up.

5. Send the Invitation

After entering the required details, press Send Invite.
The invitation will now be sent to the provided email address.

What Happens Next ?

The invited user will receive an email with instructions to create a password for their account.
After setting up their password, they will be prompted to install the Fleet mobile app via their web browser.
Once the app is installed and the password is created, the user can log in to the Fleet app with their new credentials.
