Wireless broadband router supporting TAIP

This guide shows how to set up broadband routers, that send position data to GpsGate using TAIP protocol.

Note: Set up your device to transmit data to your server's hostname on port 8000.

List of Wireless routers :

Sierra Wireless AirLink series (e.g., AirLink RV50, GX450) - using TAIP 

Digi Transport Routers (e.g., Digi WR21, WR31) - using TAIP 

Peplink Max series (e.g., Max BR1) - using TAIP (Tracker type can be selected TAIP Peplink)

Motorola - using TAIP

Add an asset to the application

1. Press on + Asset in the Vehicle Panel (More options are presented on: Adding-assets-to-GpsGate )

2. Select the tracker TAIP Generic Device

3. If the Trimble plugin has not been previously installed on your server, click the Install Trimble Plugin button. If it is already installed, proceed to the next step.

4. Automatically, it will be pointed to the hostname and the port of your server. Continue with the Next step.

5. Fill in the Vehicle ID of the tracker and press Create asset.

Note: It is recommended to use a Vehicle ID that is at least 10 digits.

6. The last pop-up is a confirmation that the asset has been added
