ORBCOMM OGX setup

OGx is ORBCOMM's next-generation satellite Iot service, designed to enhance data transmission capabilities. OGx is compatible with existing ORBCOMM devices through software upgrades, ensuring a smooth transition for current users.

Orbcomm OGX is fetching the messages, though: https://ogws.orbcomm.com/api/v1.0/messages

Please read and follow the initial guide for the ORBCOMM device setup, then continue with this guide. 

How to set up in GpsGate : 

1. Log in to Site Admin (Legacy)

2. Go to Devices → ORBCOMM.

3. Click New.

4. Enter Username and Password and select OGX.

5. If necessary due to your ORBCOMM setup, add the Subaccount ID; otherwise, leave it blank.

6. Save.

7. Click Start.

How to add an asset to the application

1. Log in to your application
2. Click  +Asset in the Assets panel
3. Select Device hardware → ORBCOMM Standard.
4. Fill in the Terminal ID
5. Enter a Username and a Display Name for this asset.
6. Save the setup.
