Liebherr Tracker Setup

This guide explains how to set up Liebherr trackers. The Liebherr platform enables loading of position data from OEM manufacturer trackers via their API. At GpsGate, we support requesting this data via the API endpoint and displaying the variables within the system.

Plugin

1. Log in to Site Admin (Legacy)

2. Go to Plugins → Get more plugins

3. Install the Liebherr plugin

Manitou Service Provider setup

1. Log in to Site Admin (Legacy)

2. Go to Service → Providers.

3. Select Add New Provider.

4. Choose Liebherr Provider

5. Enter the endpoint URL of the API from Liebherr. 

6. Enter username and password to your Liebherr subscription account.

7. Enter CallInterval in seconds. For example: 900 = 15 mins

8. Leave blank for CustomString

9. Enter CallTimeout in seconds. For example: 15 seconds

10. Enter Liebherr in RouteLabel.  (*important)

11. Save.

12. Click Start on the provider's list. 

How to add an asset to the application

1. Log in to your application
2. Click + Asset
3. Select Device in the User Type drop-down list.
4. Select Tracker Hardware → Liebherr Generic.
5. Fill in the SerialNumber of the tracker as IMEI
6. Enter a Username and a Name, which is the name displayed on the map and in the list.
7. Select the appropriate roles(_Unit) and Groups (Tags).
8. Click Save.
