If you experience problems such as inaccurate tracking, try the options described in this guide.

Read Tracker for Android.

Android Tracker app: Disable Power Saving

The first thing we need to do is to use the option Disable Power Saving in the Android Tracker App to avoid the app to standby when the screen is off or the phone is in stand-by.

This option though, is an in-app setting and it'll be overridden by Android OS if you don't have the additional settings configured:

Battery optimization

Each Application has its own battery configuration/optimization settings.

Check the following options in order to make sure Android Tracker is not constraint using these parameters.

1. Go to Settings

2. Go to Apps & notifications

3. Select All apps and tap on GpsGate Tracker / GPS Tracker (the unbranded version depending on what you use)

4. Once in GpsGate Tracker, select Advanced
