HERE installation

To enable HERE services in GpsGate, follow these steps:

1. Register yourself in developer.here.com to get a valid API code

2. Install the HERE plugin from Site Admin > Plugins > Get More Plugins

3. In your HERE project section, go to the REST section and generate APP ID and APP CODE keys.

4. In GpsGate, go to Site Admin > Maps > HERE.

  • On API Key REST, paste the REST API key generated.
  • On API Key JavaScript, paste the JavaScript API key generated.

Note: app_code and app_id are deprecated and are to be used for older Here accounts.

5. To enable HERE as the Geocoder, go to Site Admin > Applications > Geocoding > Geocoder and select HERE

6. To enable HERE maps, go to Privileges and Features > Maps > _UseMapPlugin > HERE.
