Tracks (Legacy): Draw Tracks
Note: Tracks is the default experience for users (previously Tracks 2.0 (Beta) in the UI). You can select Tracks (Legacy) from the Tracks panel menu.
Tracks show where a asset has been during a time period. Tracks can be used to evaluate driver performance, streamline routes, and catch unnecessary idling.
Learn how to select a asset, search for historical tracks, and draw them on the map.
Drawing Tracks
NOTE: this method is only valid for the legacy Tracks panel.
To draw today's tracks, right-click on the asset and select Draw today's tracks from the menu.
To draw tracks from a specific date & time, select the asset(s) and the time period in the Assets and Tracks (Legacy) panels.
Select the track(s) you'd like to draw. The track overview(s) show in the Tracks (Legacy) panel. Click on the Draw tracks button.
For additional track settings or to try out the new Tracks experience, click the Tracks (Legacy) panel menu.
To see individual track points, go to the Track Points (Legacy) panel. If you click on a track point, the map will go to that location. You can use the arrow keys to move between track points.
To change how the tracks are drawn, click the down arrow beside the Draw tracks button.
Advanced filters are available by clicking on the Track Points (Legacy) panel menu. NOTE: filters are not yet supported in the new Tracks.
To see tracks as a graph, click on the Show graph button. Then select the data you'd like to see graphed.
To export your tracks, click on the Export button.
