Queclink time zone and timeout device setup

Queclink devices can be configured with specific parameters to report the time-zone and specify a default timeout to report positions. To change these settings, follow these guides:

Timeout

By default, positions are more than 60 seconds old will be marked as invalid in GpsGate.

There are 2 ways to work around this problem:

• Configure the device to only send up fresh positions. That is it should sample a new GPS position before it sends up the message.
• Change Invalid Timeout in the meta fields for the Device Type. You can find this under Site Admin (Legacy) > Devices > Types. Set it to for example 300 seconds, which is 5 minutes.
