Turn off track filtering for trouble shooting purposes.
GpsGate filters track data from the GPS tracker to remove bad data, and to determine where the device is standing still.
To see the unfiltered track data, please follow those steps:
- Login to the application
- Select Settings from the Settings menu
- Go to Track Visualization
- Set Use Filtered reader to "No".
Now draw the track again, and you will see the unfiltered track data.
Live Events Rules and the marker position update always uses the unfiltered track data.
Reports always use the filtered track data.
Distance calculation is made on filtered data.
NOTE! Always turn the filtered reader back to "Yes" again, or you will see confusion data in your workspace.
If you think GpsGate filters data too much, please consider:
Track Filters. Change Track Filters. Use different track filters for city vehicles, and long distance vehicles. https://support.gpsgate.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002754773-Track-Filters
Trip Definition Set any input from the device (e.g. Ignition) or a Device Mapper Script to define what is a trip and what is idle. https://support.gpsgate.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002870954-Trip-Definition
The _ChangeTrackVisualization privilege determines if a user can enable and disable "Use Filtered reader"
